Master Plan Public Information Meetings

The Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is a small-hub public-use airport, occupying an estimated 1,450 acres in Reno, Nevada.  The airport, which is surrounded by industrial, commercial and residential developments, has three runways accommodating a wide variety of commercial/passenger, cargo, general aviation and military aircraft operations.

Owned and operated by the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority, the airport is financially self-sufficient, funded by the fees and rents collected from its aviation and non-aviation tenants.  The Airport Authority also owns 200+ acres of vacant, undeveloped land in proximity to the airport.

The Airport Authority has begun a master plan project for the airport which will provide a roadmap to address airport growth, industry changes, and Federal Aviation Administration standards for the next 20 years, while balancing the needs of the community.
